SPD have 10 units on scene of a shooting that left a male injured. He was shot at 2:41a.m. in the 2900 block of Peach St.The male victim suffered gunshot wound to his arm. He was transported to Ochsner
Approx. 20 NOPD vehicles, maybe more, keep circling the block on Loyola by Duncan Plaza over and over again with their lights on. Been happening for the last 10mins or so. Small group lingering folks from march still here (maybe 10); everyone else is gone
About 2,000 people now, winding through the quarter chanting "no justice, no peace."

NOPD investigating shooting in 1200 block of Freret St. Initial reports show female victim with gunshot wound to the arm. A subject has been detained at the scene in relation to this investigation.
BRFD responds to fire at another tire shop overnight. The AAA Tire Shop is located at 6160 Airline Hwy.
Shreveport firefighters douse a blaze on DeSoto Street. crew on scene learned the home was vacant. No injuries were reported.
