Police have arrested one man in connection to a fatal shooting that left one man dead early Sunday morning. It happened just after 3 a.m. near the 1000 block of North Dorgenois Street. Police said the 39-year-old victim was riding in a vehicle with another individual when the shooting happened. The other person told police he saw the victim reaching for something, and shot him. Then, the person accused of the shooting, Cardero Davis, 31, brought the victim to the hospital, where he later died.
