NOPD investigating shooting in 13000 block of Dwyer Blvd. Initial reports show male victim with gunshot wound to leg transported to local hospital EMS.

NOPD investigating shooting that occurred earlier this morning in 2100 block of Elysian Fields Ave. Initial reports show male victim arriving at local fire station just after 6:00 a.m. with gunshot wound to the leg. Victim transproted to local hospital.
Damage to an apartment complex on Washington Ave. & Carondelet St. after a three-alarm fire started around 8:30 last night. @NOLAFireDept says 26 residents were displaced. No one was injured although a resident's dog died in the fire.

NOPD is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred at General DeGaulle and Garden Oaks in the 4th Dist. The incident involved a NOPD officer and a bicyclist. EMS transported the bicyclist to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
