A man is being treated at a local hospital after being shot in the stomach. It happened about 1:30 a.m. Friday in the 6700 block of Kennedy Drive. That's in Shreveport's Mooretown neighborhood.

Kenner man, 55, found shot to death overnight under overpass, police say
A 55-year-old man was fatally shot overnight in Kenner, police said Wednesday morning (April 4). He's been identified as David Lee Holmes. According to the Kenner Police Department, Holmes' body was found at 12:02 a.m. Wednesday on the ground under the Airline Drive overpass at Kenner Avenue and Pollock Place (map). He had been shot more than once and was pronounced dead at the scene.
