One person is dead and another behind bars following a shooting at the WalMart in the 9500 block of Mansfield Road. The shooting happened around 12:45 Friday morning. The two men were involved in a heated argument. During the exchange, one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other. The victim was transported to University Health but ultimately died from his wounds.
New Orleans police reported a shooting in the 2200 block of Humanity Street, in the St. Roch neighborhood. The shooting occurred at 11:36 p.m., making it the second shooting reported within about a half-hour Thursday night. At 11:03 p.m., a man was injured in a shooting in the 7th Ward
A man was shot in the 2100 block of North Rocheblave Street, near Frenchmen Street in the 7th Ward, New Orleans police reported. Police said victim suffered "non-life threatening" injuries in the shooting, reported at 11:03 p.m.

Baton Rouge Police, along with the East Baton Rouge Coroner's Office, are responded to a fatal shooting on Fuqua Street Tuesday night. Authorities were called to the 1900 block of Fuqua Street near N. 19th Street around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The hunt is on for two men accused of breaking into a Shreveport home and robbing two underage victims at gunpoint Monday afternoon. Police say the men barged into the home in the 6200 block of South Lakeshore Drive around 4:15 p.m. They reportedly held guns at the two victims and robbed them before taking off with their money.
Firefighters with the Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to a house fire on Country Club Drive Monday night. According to BRFD, the fire was reported at 9:25 p.m. in the 1700 block of Country Club Drive. At the scene, firefighters could see flames coming from the house.

A man has been arrested after a hit-and-run crash that killed two teenagers Sunday. State Troopers began investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash on US Highway 167 shortly after 7:30 p.m. Authorities say the crash claimed the lives of 16-year-old Alana Duhon and 15-year-old Sydney Colomb.

Police are investigating two separate shootings that claimed the lives of two men in New Orleans overnight. According to New Orleans Police, the first shooting happened around 10:39 p.m. in the 7700 block of Dorsett Drive in New Orleans East.
