Bossier City police responded to that shooting just after 10 last night outside the Scott Dickerson Homes on Scott Street. Police say a 17-year-old boy was shot in the stomach and taken to the hospital. They have not released the status of his condition

No injuries; No off-site impact after fireball and massive inferno at Exxon refinery overnight.
Photos taken by Zachary resident Denny Butler, who was driving home from work on I-110 when "the whole sky lit up, bright enough to be daytime." He has several friends who work at Exxon. "I'm just glad everybody is safe. If that really blows up, we're all gonna be dead."
BRPD Spokesman Curt Monte says this was NOT an explosion. It was a fire that happened on site. No injuries/no offsite impact. ExxonMobil's Volunteer Fire Team handled the incident. BRFD's suppression team did not need to be called out to assist.
